Hove is a seaside town in East Sussex. It adjoins Brighton to the west, and the two towns are now combined as the City of Brighton and Hove.

LGBT history

Edward Carpenter was born in Hove in 1844, and Roger Quilter was born there in 1877. Georgina Somerset had a dental practice there for a while.
