Bury is a town in Greater Manchester (formerly in Lancashire) and the largest town in the metropolitan borough of the same name (which also includes Ramsbottom and several other towns).
LGBT history
The actor Antony Cotton was born in Bury.
The Bury LGBT Networking Group was set up in 2011.[1]
In July 2012 the Walking Rainbow took place: a walk through Bury Town Centre promoting equality, celebrating diversity and saying “no” to homophobia.[2]
