The Forum started life in 2002 as the Inverness Pride Committee when [[Pride Scotland]] decided to take its annual event outside Edinburgh and Glasgow for the first time. The Highland LGBT Forum is a charity based in Inverness with a committee of local volunteers. The Forum organises a variety of events where everyone is welcome.
