Mid Sussex is a local government district within West Sussex. It contains the towns of East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. Prior to 1974 it was in East Sussex.

Peter Katin went to school in East Grinstead, and Richard Fairbrass was brought up there.
