Gaywaves was a pirate radio station broadcasting at various locations in London during the 1980s. It used frequency 103.7 Mhz and was largely run by Phillip Cox. Cassette recordings of Gaywaves radio broadcast are held in the British Library. Some have been digitalised and are available for listening by registered users at the Library and by prior appointment [1] [2].
